This is perfect, not only do I get to enter into a contest, I also get to pimp out my new favourite game. Recently I was allowed into the Eden Eternal Closed Beta Test and loved it. While it may be somewhat similar to other Aeria games, the ability to change classes on the fly is simply the best. Everyone, please check it out!!!

Any frequent readers will have noticed that there has not been much new content lately. I have been quite busy with school, among other things, and have not gotten a chance to really sit down and write. I plan to get some writing done this weekend though, as I have a 3 day weekend. Also, I will have turned in my 6-page English assignment which has been taking up most of my time. I have quite a few quality apps to review, but that will be done this weekend.

Asda Story- I began playing this game because I had played it before but had stopped. I patched up this game, started a new character, and dived in. This game is very newbie friendly, and gives many quests to help a newcomer along. All new players start as a basic class, and are allowed to advance jobs at level 5. There are three different jobs: Archer, Warrior, and Mage. Each job has three skill trees that the player can follow, and each have different purposes. Another job advance is in order at level 24, and the final advance at level 40. There are plenty of quests and little to no grind all the way until level 35 or so. The grinding in this game is nothing compared to some other games either, and after a few hours you level up. What made me really enjoy this game is the crafting system, which makes it so the player is not completely dependent upon the whims of the economy. All in all this game is a great MMO and is fun to play for long periods of time.

Dragonica Online- Dragonica Online is a very nice break from the traditional click and kill MMO. It requires a bit more action from the player, and allows for continuous combo stringing. It has instanced dungeons where players party up and defeat bosses, but it also has regular creeps on maps. This is one game where I absolutely adore grinding though. One, the amount of experience gained is never too low, and two, the game rewards you for killing monsters. It will give you chests with equipment in intervals when you kill monsters. The equipment contained in the chests is pretty good as well, making it more than worth your time to grind. I have quite a bit of fun with this game too, and I find it to be a nice break from Asda Story

The Grammys were on two days ago, and as usual were quite a spectacle. They attracted quite the audience, and presented some impressive performances. The hit among high school kids, at least according to Facebook statuses, was Lil Wayne, Eminem, Drake, and Travis Barker performing Lil Wayne’s new song Drop the World (I could be off on the name). After seeing so many people talk about it I felt that I needed to watch it myself. To watch it I did what any Internet minded person would do, I hopped onto YouTube and searched for a clip of the performance. This approach almost always works, but this time it didn’t. I found the clip I was looking for, it’s just they had all been removed. The Grammys, or maybe better known as the Grannys, had every clip but one, that I could find, deleted. YouTube never used to be like that. It used to be a great online jukebox, but suddenly it all seems to be changing. Now it has videos being take down left and right in fear of lawsuits. Many of the songs I have searched have had the audio on the video changed to avoid lawsuits. It seems a bit ridiculous that this mass change is happening, and also a little sad. Music corporations never seemed to be huge on piracy, but recent years have brought changes to that mentality. Now it seems like they will go after anyone who uses their song with out getting permission. The logic behind this baffles me, as I wonder how taking down one persons video would save them enough money for it to be worth their time. It all needs to stop though, before YouTube becomes overrun by corporations and stops being what it used to be.

After watching TV this morning, I counted at least 10 political ads. This may not seem too bad, but if the fact that I watched the TV for about 3 minutes, it seems quite excessive then. Everytime I see a smear ad I always think less of the candidate promoting the commercial, rather than whoever is being bashed. These days I see fewer and fewer ads in which candidates explain their positions on issues. Rather, it seems as though all money is spent on making the opponent seem as terrible and unfit as possible. The question that then begs is, what would happen if only positive ads were run for an entire campaign?

And I return. After a hiatus over the weekend, I return with my usual Monday morning Early Morning Drag post. Over the weekend I played more of the MMO I plan to review, and I think that I should have a review up by this weekend. If you wish to try the game out before I post the review, if only to get some context, it’s called Asda Story. If you decide to try it out, feel free to add me at either Skooljestet or NocInvictus. On a different note, the t-shirt design I created finally got admitted to a website. If you look at my Twitter feed, it should be only a few tweets down. Unfortunately, I don’t think it will be printed, as it currently has only 8 votes. I think the voting may end soon as well, so my chances of winning are rather slim. I have a few new iTouch games, but I am mainly excited for GTA:Chinatown and Final Fantasy 1&2 coming to the app store. I will get reviews up for those mere days after I get them. That’s all for today, and I will post the t-shirt link later when I get the chance.

Yesterday I attempted to break into the t-shirt business. I created a t-shirt off of one concept that was thrown together in German after looking at the projector attached to the ceiling. The idea sort of went from there, and eventually evolved into a full blown design that I submitted for approval to threadless.com. I’ll post the actual design later today, as I can’t reach it currently. Unfortunately I did not get my review done yesterday as Inwas quite entranced by my design. Unless I come up with another brilliant idea in one of my classes, you can expect a review to be posted today. When and if my design gets approved Ill will post a link to where you can vote on the design. That will be in 4-8 days if it gets approved, so I guess everyone will see then.

This is my first post in a while, and it marks my return to my normal posting schedule. I’ll have a new review up later today and I am working on a MMO review as well. The iTouch review will be up later, then I will have one up later as well. That’s really all for now. I start a new semester today and I’m a tad tired so there isn’t much being posted.
